We address and implement programs for individuals who are 60 and older to make life a bit easier.
Funded in part by state and federal grants, and generous donations given by our community members.
Our organization operates under a Board of Directors that volunteer to help the elderly in our community.
We are committed to making sure you live longer, but most importantly that you age well with resources.
Because the winter weather caused the cancellation of the Annual Meeting in January, Claiborne Council on Aging will hold its Annual Meeting, Monday, February 23, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the Claiborne Council on Aging’s Senior Center located at 609 East 4th Street in Homer, Louisiana.
Membership is required for voting or running for office in the Annual Meeting. Membership will be closed after February 9, 2026, but will reopen after the Annual Meeting. Membership is open to anyone 18 or over who is interested in the well-being of senior adults.
